For those of you who weren’t able to attend the Jalopnik Hurricane Relief Show in Newark, here’s some of the cars that were present. (On a side note, I saw Ballaban for the first time in real life today, it’s true, he really does look pissed off all the time)

This was my first time seeing a couple of cars IRL for the 1st time. Here’s my first skyline in daylight. I can see where all the love is

There were a couple of rivalries at the show. (Yes I consider a 300HP car vs a 200HP car a rivalry)

Well then, those are the cars that were present from 3:00PM to 3:45PM, when I had arrived and left, on a side note, headed out when I came in was a 911, Cayman GT4, and a 240SX convertible. On another side note, I was ready to buy a US Flag/Wrench Shirt, but just as I was headed to the stand with 20 bucks, they shut it down!

The SL and Focus ST are owned by Oppos, that hardtop Miata is also owned by a guy who came to the Tri state meet.

Chances are if you were there around 1, we crossed paths multiple times.

Edit: see you were there later, it was beyond crowded when I rolled in at 12. Seemed to die around 2:30iah

The ST is a Fost. Bigger and the hood is not aligned with the rest of the body.

That is always the biggest giveaway of a Fost vs. Fist.

Very cool, I would have liked to have made the trip down but it wasn’t possible for me this weekend. Hopefully something like this happens again, it looked like a good time!

No offense, but the $70k TTRS is not competition to the $25k GT86. The TTRS has 400 hp vs 205 and a 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, as opposed to 6.5. Both fun sports cars, but not even close to competitors.

Also is that RCR’s MR2?

Me. Regular lives in Penn, so it wouldn’t be a long shot for him to come to this meet. Maybe he even did one of those RCR goes to car show videos

I’ve done a few trips with Ballaban. He doesn’t always look pissed, but it’s definitely more worrying when he’s smiling

The E28 M5 and those Mercedes are definitely not competition. Mercedes look like W123, the Mercedes are pure luxury. The BMW is a sports sedan.
